The Robertaebasta Gallery
was founded by Roberta Tagliavini. She is pictured in the top
two recent photos on this page, as well as in an earlier photo
at the bottom photo. Her companion in these photos is her son,
Mr. Mattia M. Martinelli. Both these leading professionals are
accessible to clients on a regular basis. Ms. Tagliavini is a
prominent, long-standing member of the Provincial Art Dealer
Syndicate of Milan. She also serves as an assistant editor of ‘Arte
Viva’, a leading magazine of the arts. Under her direction,
the gallery has participated in prominent shows in the United
States and Europe. These include the Modernism Show in New York
and The European Art Foundation show (TEFAF) in Basel, Switzerland.
Under her leadership, the firm has developed a loyal following
of distinguished collectors throughout Europe and the United
States. Numerous references are readily available.
The Executive
Vice President of the Gallery is Mr. Mattia Martinelli. Mr. Martinelli
also serves as President of the Fiori Chiari Antique Trade Dealers
Association, as well as a member of the board of directors of
the Brera Antique Trade Dealers Association. He brings over a
decade of professional experience to the firm’s expertise
in 20th Century decorative arts.
Under the continuous direction
of Ms. Tagliavini and Mr. Martinelli, the firm provides a complete
line of home services for their clients. These include assistance
with interior design concepts and consultations, purchasing,
verification of authenticity, restoration and upholstery, shipping
and transportation and even on-sight assembly and placement suggestions.
The Gallery provides its own certificates of authenticity regarding
every piece that is purchased. Furthermore, and rather uniquely,
the gallery offers a lifetime opportunity to exchange purchased
pieces, at their purchase prices, for other items available at
the gallery at any time.
